Corr-Paint CP4020 is a single part, gray pigmented, silicone-based, VOC-compliant, water-dispersible coating system for sealing and protecting steel components and structures found in the automotive, power generation, oil refining, chemical processing and steel industries for applications to 1100°F (593°C).
CP4020 provides excellent adhesion to sandblasted as well as marginally prepared surfaces; it dries rapidly at room temperature and cures easily as the coated structure is ramped up to its operating temperature. The resultant coating is color stable at high temperatures and resistant to oxidation, ultraviolet light, humidity, and salt spray conditions.
Typical applications include burning casings, crackers, exhaust manifolds and ducting, furnace linings, heat exchangers, reformers, and other structures that experience oxidation due to moisture and condensation products.
