HiE-Coat 840-CM is a single part ceramic-based, black-pigmented, high-emissivity coating for dense refractories to 2500°F (1371°C) and stainless steel to 900°F (482°C).

Curing is accomplished by air-drying at room temperature for 1 hour, then step curing for 30 min at 200°F and 1 hour at 500°F.
