Technical Data

Ceramacast 584 is a magnesia based, two-part, ultra quick-set casting and potting compound. Resists temperatures up to 2800°F (1535°C). Supplied in powder form and mixed with liquid 584-L in 100:28 weight ratio to develop a paste; mix thoroughly until the product is smooth and creamy.

Curing procedures are as follow:
1) Material will set in less than 10 minutes. Extend pot life by chilling the liquid to -50°F.
2) Air dry for a minimum of 2 hours.
3) Bake at 200°F for 2 hours.
4) Final cure at 250°F for 3 hours.

On the picture Ceramacast 584 casts fine detail welding fixture.
